Job Title: Customer Installation Engineer
Location: Clacton-on-Sea area
Salary: Up to £34k

They need to live close to Clacton as the other engineers in the area struggle to travel there daily.
Details:
Each Installation Engineer will be responsible for supporting our customers through the journey to receiving our fibre broadband, providing a five star installation service from start to finish. Installing our FTTP network, trouble-shooting, supporting customers to ensure they are fully connected and offering an excellent overall experience are all key to the role. We are striving to go over and above for all of our customers!
Key Responsibilities:
- Connecting customers to FTTP services
- Follow current Health and Safety guidance to ensure safety of you, our customers and members of the public
- Deliver a memorable 5 star installation experience to our customers
- In the event of any issues, take ownership and work with the team to resolve swiftly, documenting as required
- Help drive improvements by being the voice of the customer, raising any opportunities for improvements to your manager
- Call out and weekend working may be required
What’s Needed to Apply:
- Experience working within a customer facing environment
- A strong focus on customer service
- The ability to problem-solve calmly
- Confidence working at height
- Strong communication skills, able to communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders and executive management
- A highly organised approach, able to work on multiple projects, installations and repairs without impact on service quality
- Experience in carrying out end to end FTTP installations including splicing
- Previous experience in similar role
- Exposure to the OR network (PIA)
- SA1, SA2, CPO8, CP10 and N23 accreditations although this is an ideal and not entirely necessary
- A full UK Driving Licence
