Our team
I started my recruitment career in 2010, since then I have worked across most aspects of the UK Infrastructure & Construction sectors and International Maritime, giving me a wealth of experience in technical recruitment, both in the UK and overseas.
I have a genuine passion and enthusiasm to make the recruitment process better and strive for quality, I have expertise in Contract, Permanent, retained search and exclusive projects. Outside of work I’m a proud father to a beautiful girl and boy, and devoted husband. When I have enough energy in between running around after 2 kids and a dog, I love to play squash, cricket, and the odd bike ride. I’m also learning to play golf, unsuccessfully!

In my personal time and on top of being a key figure within my family, I am a keen golfer and footballer. I enjoy cooking, and have an eye for home improvements and fashion, but some may disagree!

Having Graduated with a Sports Science Degree from Southampton University in 2008, I started my career in Recruitment in the Summer of 2011 as a Consultant within the Water Industry. I have remained in this sector for my entire tenure, and it is probably acceptable to self-proclaim that I am highly knowledgeable about all things AMP related! Within the workspace, I am passionate about creating a High Performing Culture in tandem with servicing our Clients and Candidates to the best of our abilities.
In my personal time, I am very keen on Sports and attempt to get to the gym 3 or 4 time. If it’s a WFH day, then you can usually find me doing a Joe Wicks HIIT in my lunch hour! I am a big fan of all things related to Boxing and am also a long-suffering supporter of Southampton FC having held a Season ticket for the last 7 years.

Outside of my role at Fyba I enjoy restoring and revitalising old furniture to give it a new lease of life.

I have been working in recruitment since 2019 and have covered various sectors within infrastructure including highways, water, and telecoms. I believe working at Fyba in such exciting and booming markets like Water, Renewables & Telecoms is proving to be a great career move for me, with lots of long-term opportunities.
Whilst not at work I like to fill my free time by playing golf, watching football including my own team Liverpool which has been a more pleasurable experience in recent years, and keeping fit by running.

Outside of work I’m a keen footballer and I like to spend most weekends either playing or watching the football (Normally with a beer in hand). I enjoy spending time with friends and family and can be very easily persuaded into a Nando’s or two…

I spent 6 years working as a sports therapist until June 2023 for Havant and Waterlooville FC alongside other various roles at the NHS, and Havant and South Downs College. Although I enjoyed my time as a sports therapist I decided I needed a career change and to be in an idustry that could match my ambition and felt I had a lot of transferrable skills to head into a career in Recruitment.
After speaking to the guys at Fyba Talent, I saw the vision and enthusiasm within the team and it was something I immediately wanted to be a part of. The long team goals are endless and I am excited to where this opportunity takes me.
