£40000-£42000 per annum + van/fuel card

We’re working with a well-established Tier 1 Contractor with a great reputation in the Telecoms industry and long-term contracts with multiple ISPs across the UK. As a leading Tier 1 they take responsibility for civils and fibre engineering responsibilities on Fibre builds providing their customers with a quality and reliable service.

We are currently looking for a Civils Supervisor to join the team, this role is based around the Clapham/Balham area and would require you to have a full UK driving licence.

Roles & responsibilities:

• Visit site every day to liaise with every “gang” and to discuss the day’s work ahead.
• Ensure all sites are left safe at the end of the working day as per procedure and red book guidelines to ensure public safety.
• Ensure all defects are rectified in a timely manner.
• Conduct weekly pre-site surveys for upcoming work and walk sites weekly with the client to “measure up”.
• Supply monthly reports to the Safety Manager and the Head of Construction.
• Consult with the client and local authorities regarding any H&S issues, noticing, quality or defects.

Required experience:

• A Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• BT Openreach or similar craft and safety accreditations (preferred)
• NRSWA accreditation – supervisor level (essential)
• Experience in network installation including UG and OH networks
• Experience of Civils installations
• Knowledge of Street Works Permitting
